Biu Biu chicken producer LLC “Chirina” implemented food safety management system ISO 22000 with HACCP principles. German company TUV SUD undertook certification process.

ISO 22000 Certificate is the quality guarantee for company partners and customers. This certificate underlines that company operates according to International Standards and ensures product safety throughout its whole production cycle.

In recent years, Biu Biu meat producer “Chirina” has been gradually expanding poultry production.

For the purpose of expanding production volumes and development of production, Chirina Ltd, with co-financing of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), has constructed a new poultry complex “Sartichala-3” in the village of Sartichala.

Construction of the complex began in 2019 and was accomplished in 2020. Within the mentioned complex, Chirina Ltd is planning to produce additional 600 tons of meat per month. The complex consists of 14 farm houses equipped with modern technology.

The farms were built by Chirina Ltd in partnership with Israel’s leading company AgroTop, while farm equipment and automation system were maintained by the company&rs quo;s partner Big Dutchman. This investment project will noticeably increase the possibility of chicken meat production in Georgia.
